TideScape is a series of photos taken by photographer Jason van der Valk of Victoria, B.C. All of these photos have been shot around the coast of Vancouver Island. Some have been taken using a long exposure technique which gives the photography an eerie calm to the surrounding water scene, and some have been taken in colour.
Jason uses a Canon DSLR and a wide variety of lenses to capture these moments. His goal is to get his pieces into local galleries and to publish a book containing his photographs.
